1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AsSalam App, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the app.

2. Account Registration

  • User Responsibility: To access premium features of the AsSalam App, you must register for an account by providing accurate personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities that occur under your account.
  • Age Requirement: By registering an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. Users under 18 years must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app.

    • 3. Subscription Services

  • AsSalam App Subscription Packages: AsSalam offers three subscription packages: Premium ($10 per year), Premium Saving ($20 one time only) and AsSalam Saving ($40 one time only). By subscribing, you gain access to exclusive features such as personalized azan notification choices (among others), educational content series from local imams, and enhanced rewards through our referral program.
  • Non-Refundable: All subscription fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed. Please carefully review all the benefits before subscribing.

    • 4. Referral Program

  • Eligibility: Users can participate in the referral program by sharing a unique referral link or referral id (during Beta App Play Store publishing phase). Rewards are provided based on the number of successful referrals who subscribe to the app.
  • Referral Rewards: Referral rewards are based on different packages of subscription. Users can earn monetary rewards starting from 6 referrals to 10 referrals depending on their subscription type.
  • Referral Restrictions: Users subscribed to the Premium package can only refer others to the Premium package. Similarly, Premium Saving users can only refer to the Premium Saving package, and AsSalam Saving users can only refer to the AsSalam Saving package. All three subscription types cannot be mixed.

    • 5. Content & Features

  • Islamic Content: AsSalam provides access to Islamic resources, including Quran recitations, hadiths, zikir, and dua, sourced from trusted scholars and qaris. Premium users gain access to exclusive recitations and educational content.
  • Live Streaming: AsSalam Saving subscribers can participate in live streaming video lessons delivered by local imams or any invited verified tutors/ustazs/teachers.
  • Azan Notifications: Users can choose to receive azan notifications voiced by local muadzins from Malaysia, or any other offered azan notifications voiced by muadzins all around the world. These notifications are customizable and intended to remind users of prayer times.

    • 6. Community Guidelines

  • Respectful Engagement: AsSalam fosters a global community of Muslim users. All interactions within the app should be respectful and follow Islamic principles of communication.
  • Prohibited Conduct: Users must not engage in harmful, offensive, or illegal activities, including harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate content sharing within the app.

    • 7. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: All content, including text, images, videos, and software within the AsSalam App, is owned or licensed by us. You are prohibited from copying, distributing, or modifying the app’s content without prior permission.
  • License to Use: By using the app, we grant you a non-exclusive, revocable, and limited license to access and use the content for personal and non-commercial purposes.

    • 8. Limitation of Liability

  • No Guarantee of Availability: We strive to ensure the continuous availability of the AsSalam App. However, there may be instances where access to the app is interrupted due to maintenance or unforeseen issues. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by app downtime.
  • Accuracy of Content: While we aim to provide accurate Islamic information and content, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions. Users are encouraged to cross-reference content with trusted Islamic sources.

    • 9. Modification of Terms

    We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website or within the app. Your continued use of the app constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

    10. Termination of Use

  • Breach of Terms: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the AsSalam App if you breach these Terms and Conditions or engage in prohibited conduct.
  • Voluntary Termination: Users may delete their accounts at any time by requesting to us via email support, to request for account deletion. We will do so manually by our system.

    • 11. Privacy Policy

    Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

    12. Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any legal disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that region.

    13. Contact Information

    All your savings are fully owned by you. However, AsSalam reserves the right to restrict the withdrawal of your savings in the event of a disaster or any emergency affecting you. Should you choose to withdraw your savings, please note that you will no longer be eligible to receive any compensatory benefits from AsSalam. For withdrawal requests due to emergencies, you can directly contact AsSalam Support for immediate assistance. The minimum withdrawal amount is set at 100 USD and must be in multiples of 100 USD, such as 100 USD, 200 USD, 300 USD, or 1,000 USD. If there is 150 USD in the account, only 100 USD can be withdrawn, and the remaining 50 USD will stay in the saving account.
